KENTFIELD – The Clovis Community College men's soccer team cruised to its second consecutive win thanks to a 3-1 non-conference victory at College of Marin on Tuesday.
The Crush scored a pair of second-half goals to pull out the win. Fabian Cisneros gave Clovis an early 1-0 lead with his goal in the third minute off the assist from Luis Ramos-Sanz.
The score remained 1-0 until the second half when Marin got the equalizer in the 46th minute. Moments later, the Crush went ahead for good thanks to Brano Alvarado-Torres' goal in the 53rd minute. Christian Rodriguez-Zendejas sealed the victory by scoring in extra time just before the game's final whistle off with the assist by Amar Malhi.
Vik Singh earned the win in goal for the Crush and had 3 saves.
Clovis improved to 2-2-1 overall and is back in action on September 23 when the Crush host Hartnell College in a 4 p.m. non-conference game.
