NORTHERN CALIFORNIA PLAYOFFS BRACKET
The Clovis Community College men's soccer team returns to the postseason for the second straight season. On Sunday, the Crush were named the No. 16 seed for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs.
Clovis will host No. 17-seed Lake Tahoe Community College in a first-round game on Wednesday (Nov. 19) at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices for the 3C2A postseason game are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old.
Under third-year head coach Yaw Danso, the Crush finished third in the Central Valley Conference at 5-2-3. Clovis enters the postseason with an 8-7-4 overall record. Clovis is one of four CVC programs to earn a spot in the playoffs.
Last year, the Crush dropped their opening-round playoff game 3-0 at Santa Rosa Junior College.
No. 17 Lake Tahoe wrapped up the regular season with a 10-5-5 overall record. The Coyotes finished second in the Golden Valley Conference with a 6-1-3 mark.
Clovis and Lake Tahoe will be meeting for the first time this season. The winner of Wednesday's contest will travel to No. 1 Santa Rosa (16-1-3) for a second-round game on Saturday (Nov. 22).
Four wins are needed by the Crush to advance to the 2025 3C2A State Championships on Dec. 5 & 7 at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
