The Clovis Crush Women's Soccer team defeated Sierra College 1-0 in their home opener for their first win of the 2017-2018 season. After a scoreless first half, freshman defender Marie Tejada got on the end of a corner kick from sophomore forward Elisa Soderholm for her first goal in a Crush uniform. The defense held strong the rest of the second half to preserve the shutout and the win. Their overall record now stands at 1-1. The Crush will next be competing in the Ventura Nike Showcase September 1-2, taking on Orange Coast College on Friday 9/1 and host Ventura College on Saturday 9/2.
