The Clovis Crush Women's Soccer team lost a close match Wednesday at home to Canada College by the score of 1-0. Alex Agulis scored the lone goal of the match in the 15th minute on a shot from 25 yards out. The Crush put pressure to get the tying goal with the best chance of the match coming in the 70th minute. Freshman forward Brianna Garcia found herself one on one with the goalkeeper off a great through ball from sophomore midfielder Maricela Soto, though her shot rolled just inches wide from the far post. The Crush Women are in action again at home this Friday, September 8th at 4:00pm agains LA Pierce College. Their overall record now stands at 2-3.
