CLOVIS – The Clovis Community College women's soccer team began the Central Valley Conference portion of its 2024 schedule with a tough 2-0 loss to visiting Merced College on Tuesday.
Offense has been tough to come by for the Crush this season. Clovis has scored just once so far, getting a goal in last week's 1-0 win over Evergreen Valley, and has now been shutout in five of six games.
With the loss, Clovis dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the Central Valley Conference. The Crush next face rival Fresno City College at home next Tuesday (Sep. 24) at 1 p.m.
