COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State junior distance runner Rhiannon Walker has been named the Mountain West Women's Track Athlete of the Week, kicking off the outdoor season with a bang.

In her first season as a Bulldog, transferring from Clovis Community College, Walker has already made a name for herself in the uniform. In the indoor season, she set the program record in the 5,000m. She bested the previous record by six seconds.
Walker and the Bulldogs will be back home this weekend in the Central Valley, hosting the West Coast Relays on Friday and Saturday.
