PITTSBURG – The Clovis Crush women's volleyball team went 2-0 on Wednesday thanks to back-to-back sweeps of Los Medanos College and San Jose City College.
In the first match, the Crush beat host Los Medanos 25-15, 25-21, 25-19. Clovis got 21 kills from Juliana Sanchez, 31 assists from Ashley Robles and 20 digs from Olivia LeBeau.
In the second match, the Crush dominated San Jose City winning by scores of 25-16, 25-15, and 24-11. Every Crush player saw action in the match with Clovis as a team attacking at a .348 percentage. Lily Villegas had a break out day with 10 total kills and Kenzie King had 7 digs.
Clovis is back in action at home on September 26 at 6 p.m. to take on West Valley College. All Crush home matches are played at Valley Athletics Center in Fresno.
