Bio
Former Fresno State volleyball standout Ella Rud joins Mark Rosen's coaching staff for the inaugural 2025 season.
Rud recently closed out an impressive four-year career at Fresno State this past fall (2024). She was named team captain for her junior and senior seasons. In 2023, Rud earned first-team All-Mountain West honors and was selected to the Mountain West All-Tournament team. As a sophomore in 2022, Rud was named All-Mountain West honorable mention.
Off the court, Rud was recognized as a Mountain West Scholar Athlete and was named Academic All-Mountain West.
She is a native of Gilbert, Ariz. Rud helped lead Perry High School to a perfect 15-0 regular-season record her senior year (2020) and a state tournament runner up finish her junior season (2019).
